Yea, I couldn't remember where Askew was. Haven't heard much about him. King has been tearing it up though. And FWIW, Askew is running with the 3's at Will behind McCoy and Frazier...

I'm think King is 3rd behind Thompson and Lathers as well. I'm not positive though. They've moved the LBs around a ton.

Lathers and King aren't at the same position anymore. Lathers is the #2 behind Reviez at MLB and King is the #2 behind Thompson at SLB...

I'm pretty sure they play different positions. IIRC, Thompson is a SAM and Lathers is a MIKE, unless that's changed recently.

I thought Lathers and Thompson were both strongside until apparently now. I haven't really been able to keep up with the practices and everything. My bad

King could be starting by mid season...if the season started today he would already be in the rotation for a ton of snaps with the way he has played.

X has said that King and Myles were must get recruits and sat on the top of their board last recruiting season. I guess we should expect great things from both

He ended the game with over 23 tackles, including one sack and two forced fumbles.

After the game they had to take the fiesty linebacker to the hospital where they had to put in eight stitches in his right cheek.

yea this kid has major talent...similar to greg king in that he is fast and loves to lay the wood to everything

I think he's a much better prospect than King at this point. That's not really a knock against King, but a testament to Taylor. I'm as excited to get him as any other prospect in our class thus far... Should come in and play early.

Would not be surprised to see this kid get his 4th star. Shirley, Irvin, Taylor, Luc (?)

Could you even imagine?

We won't get Luc.. We look to have an alright chance for Shirley but will have to fight off USC and UCLA. I wouldn't be surprised if Shirley stayed on the DL line either. Could be like a smaller Brian Orakpo/Shawne Merriman...

I'm telling you guys Taylor is going to become a force once he suits up in orange. I don't care what the recruiting sites rank him as, you can't teach athleticism and instincts. Like others have mentioned he is my favorite recruit so far.

Don't forget Ralph Williams from out of Miami. Things have been quiet with him but I think he is gonna be a real steal, too. He, Taylor, and Irvin are a pretty solid LB class as of now.

This kid looks real solid. It looks like he can end up being a big impact player here. I no he verbally committed to us, but does anyone know how solid it is? I just want to know if he is pretty much set in stone like Jacques Smith, or if he is likely to end up signing with someone else on NSD.

Kid had 25 tackles in his opening game.....all with a huge cut on his face that required 8 stitches after the game. He is going to be a BEAST for us, and will surely be upgraded to a high 4* before his SR year is over.
