Kinda glad you put statistically in there for that D. They were nowhere near as good as the 92 Bama D or the 2001 Canes D. There is no way these two teams would have allowed Rogers to run the ball on them like USC did that night.

I could see them winning by 14-17 points. Looking back at the OSU-USC game even though it was a blow out. USC had trouble when OSU had the ball out in space on little screens and things. As we all know Florida will make USC play in space all game.

Carl Moore is like Percy Harvin...but better!
There isn't one.
And of course the offense is going to take a hit when one of the key playmakers, past #1 overall player and first round draft pick leaves.
But the defense is getting that much better and will pick up the slack.
I'll honestly be really surprised if Florida loses just one game next year.
After Tebow though, I think their offense is going to curl up and die unless Meyer/Loeffler make some more changes to it (More I formation, power rushing game, ..etc)
He's a Gator. But I guess I'm wrong for treating the enemy rudely. Please. You're worst on Vols around here than you are on the enemy. But I still think you're John Clayton Jr.

I am not your enemy. The players and the coaches of the respective teams are rivals. We each root for different teams.
As a result of coming here, I am a more educated about UT and UF recruiting. UT recruits nearly every player that UF recruits. I am also more educated about UT football. I also share some nuggets of information and perspective that some people on this site value.
For those who don't welcome that and try to shout me off the board, your shouting often de-rails an otherwise normal debate amongst rival fans and is disruptive to the UT faithful here as well.
The next time you jump in and try to shout me down, think about the impact it has to others on the board.
Do they have a power runningback to use after Tebow graduates? A couple players who haven't played and Moody is all I found. How are their runningbacks, OL, WR's, and QB's going to transition from spread option only to a power running game without some considerable dropoff in production? I highly doubt Meyer ever runs anything similar to what he ran with Leak ever again at UF.

The impact of Tebow leaving will be ten times the impact of Harvin leaving. If I were a UF opponent, I would be licking my chops at the prospect of getting after the Gators w/o TT.
Even if UF lands the best power runner in the country, it will be a step back from what they have today because the QB and RB will have to occupy two spots in the lineup instead of one. If there is any saving grace, it's that Brantley is an elite passer...right up there with Bradford.
As of now they don't, but they could get some. But they have to get someone to replace Tebow in terms of short yardage. I really doubt they trust Demps up the middle on 3rd and 4th and short.
I don't think they should completely turn into that kind of team, but they can at least incorporate some more pro style type formations.

Are you crazy? Carl Moore is a tall WR with speed. He relies on his height and quickness to make catches. The offense isn't designed around a WR like him. Percy Harvin is twice the playmaker Carl Moore dreams of being. Moore may be good, but he is no way shape or form similar to Harvin's style of play any day.
Get back to me in about 7 or 8 years. I believe you will change your tone. "nowhere near"=ludicrous. Look at those LBs and the DL. Look at how good that pass defense was. They led the nation in pass defense and #2 was 500 yards behind the Trojans. HAHAHA!!!!!! You are cracking me up with these posts...
lol: You can't be serious. HAHAHAHA!!!!!:lolabove: I'm purty sure you are joking though so it's all good...
You're a Gator fan. And that means that you're the enemy. What do you think your coach thinks of mine? Pretty sure Meyer thinks of Kiffin as the enemy and vice-versa. You should know what you're getting into coming on this board. How about this don't post just read what we post if you don't want to be smashed for coming on the Vol board.

Don't you have friends who are fans of other teams? I grew up in Miami with alll manner of FSU and UM fans around. I grew up with these people. Why can't someone be friendly with someone who roots for another team...even a rival?
