'10 FL OT Chaz Green

fwiw - Green has spoken of some desire to play with his hs teammate Christian Green.

the other green is 1. FSU 2. Florida (close)

I think Green is the same. The fact that he and some teammates are camping here has to have you a little nervous.

Never count you guys out. But we have the home field advantage here.

Also...it seems somewhere along the line, there needs to be a brave soul or two to commit on offense and get the ball rolling. Who will be first ??

Their interests appear to be in different places. FWIW, Christian Green ALWAYS mentions Tennessee when listing his favorite schools.

FL is gonna be hard to beat for this kid, gonna be a dog fight to the wire. Our staff don't quit on guys. Even commited ones.

That's just what we're waiting on. I doubt we get any big name guys until camp, but I could see us pulling a couple other linemen, possibly Scroggins or Hendrix(I"m not sure if he's coming? If he is, I'd say theres a pretty good chance), and it'd probably be a stretch to get a big name WR at the camp.

all of the O prospects are waiting on the QB situation...after that first qb commits I expect a dominoe effect to happen immediately with the olineman and WRs.

ESPNU 150 Watch List offensive tackle Chaz Green told affiliate Web site Bucknuts.com, "I have about 20 offers. Florida, USC, Tennessee, Ohio State and Georgia, those are the main schools I'm focusing on."

He continued, "Florida is my top choice right now, then USC follows them. Most likely I'll decide by the fall. I want to commit by the fall, but then I'm thinking about still taking official visits. I'm about 100% sure if I take official visits one of them will be to Ohio State."

But Green's visit to Gainesville also re-emphasized the Gators as his favorite.

"It made me want to be there," Green said. "You saw how hard they practice just for 30 minutes. It showed you how great a program they have. They're still my favorite."

Green, who rated as the top offensive lineman at the Friday Night Lights event by Rivals.com, said he wants to make official visits to USC and Ohio State, but he used the weekend to tell the Gators they're still his favorite. "They definitely know where I stand," he said.

Tennessee Vols Recruiting - Hillsborough: News and notes

Man this kid would be a huge get. Hope the staff can pry him away from the Gators a little bit.

I don't know who he is or anything, but he does seem to know what he's talking about most of the time.

I've heard the same thing though.

Most of the stuff I have read from Gator message boards have him being a gator. It could be overly optimistic though as we are loaded at O line. With your staff's recruiting ability and with your relative weakness at O line, it wouldn't surprise if they try to make a play for him. The kid is really talented and could be a great tackle.

He'll be a Gator. I don't think you guys have too much to worry about.
