Dude, dude, dude. Harvin did not score 30 TD's you are starting to look like a real moron.

That's virtually impossible for a WR. How long have you been watching football????

Really and truly dude. Are you serious? I just said I didn't know he scored that many myself. Doesn't mean I believed it. What the heck is up with you?

He thought you said it, as did I. It was actually Lord Vader and we know that now.

The stupidity in this thread is unbearable and it's sending me into rage-mode.

Vader was talking more about their O. Also look for the defenses in the SEC to catch up with Florida somewhat from last year. but Nelson isn't that good. Thompson still has to show he's a good receiver. He had opportunities with Harvin out and didn't do too much with them. Also they're offense was most effective when Harvin was playing. Harvin made it easy on the other guys. We'll see how they do without him. They're D will be good though. I'm not completely sold on the secondary being the best in the country but they are good.

I was typing in a hurry about the 30 TDs. My bad guys...

What makes you think the other SEC defense will catch up with them? They were VERY, VERY young last year, return all 11 starters from a Top 10 Defense, and have one of the top 2 or 3 defensive coordinators in the country...

Thompson was almost a 5 star out of high school and as a redshirt freshmen he would have led the Vols in TD catches...

Please name a DB corp that is better than Florida. I honestly can't think of one that is close. The Gators led the nation in INTs last year with 26. Their other stats aren't going to look as good as they really are imo because their offense is too explosive and scores too fast...

And don't be surprised if Rainey and Demps explode this year. They are both very talented, fit perfect in that offense, and are super fast. Look for CUM to try to get them the ball out in space where they can be lethal. And remember, they were just freshmen last year...

Nice post. If I would post something like that, it would spark a 3 page melee.....oh wait, I see you're already in the middle of one.

Carry on.

There isn't one.

And of course the offense is going to take a hit when one of the key playmakers, past #1 overall player and first round draft pick leaves.

But the defense is getting that much better and will pick up the slack.

I'll honestly be really surprised if Florida loses just one game next year.

After Tebow though, I think their offense is going to curl up and die unless Meyer/Loeffler make some more changes to it (More I formation, power rushing game, ..etc)

The reason I think the Defenses will catch up somewhat is the fact that it's year 4 of Meyer's stay at Florida. At sometime the defenses will start to catch up. Oklahoma and Alabama played the Gator's offensive scheme well. If you would remember not to long ago USC was unstoppable within conference now teams like Oregon St. and others give the SC offense fits. It's just what happens when you play in conference teams.

And Oklahoma and Alabama were the #1 team in the nation at the times they played, and Florida still beat both of them by double-digits...

In USC's case, I don't really believe it matters what the other team throws at them. What really matters is if USC decides to play. They'll always have a letdown game every year to a team they don't feel threatened by. But when they get put in a big time game against a team who is "supposed" to be on their level, the Trojans embarrass them...

Dang, the money I would pay to see the probable Greatest College Player of All-Time (Tebow) go up against, statistically, the Greatest Defense of All-Time (USC '08)...

Kinda glad you put statistically in there for that D. They were nowhere near as good as the 92 Bama D or the 2001 Canes D. There is no way these two teams would have allowed Rogers to run the ball on them like USC did that night.

UF would win that game, but not by much.

I could see them winning by 14-17 points. Looking back at the OSU-USC game even though it was a blow out. USC had trouble when OSU had the ball out in space on little screens and things. As we all know Florida will make USC play in space all game.
