Anyways on LUC. He is supposed to visit FSU this weekend, or whats left of that gutter program. Other than Reid and Ponder I can't name anyone else on their team.

If Luc gets his family to K-Town soon, bag it. It may not be till after the season either, but our basketball games wow recruits as well.

yes, he is very reliable...he has called several ut commits before anyone knew anything.

I dont have connections on each and every player and I dont have a script to any of the big 3 recruiting services. However, I do have a source that has gotten me info on Luc and a few others.
From everything I have heard, Luc is a Vol. I got this info around a month ago. I take that info with info from others that are reliable and I can connect the dots.

Yes i am a gator, but a very understanding gator of the website i am posting on. I have noticed this LV guy n do u really believe that luc is a silent just becuase Flvol says so? As long as Strong is at UF u kno we are a storng contender for his commitment!

The relationship between Luc and Strong has been overdone, this coming from Alex Luc. Monte and Jeff speak very regularly on the phone and Jeff knows that Monte is going to be here for awhile while Strong is only going to be around if Meyer takes off to South Bend which is unlikley to happen IMO. They realize that Charlie will not be around for Jeff's four years (barring a RS) of eligibility, regardless of what happens this year. (Those Strong to Virginia murmurs just won't go away.)

Tennessee fans have NOTHING to worry about concerning Luc. Everything is going exactly to plan and the coaches have supreme confidence. I doubt you will find that on Florida's end.

I know you guys are very confident in Luc's commitment but like i stated in the Elam thread i am from south Fl perticularly J-town not far away from treasure coast and word is out that as long as strong is at UF Luc will b a gator. I know thats not a popular statement but none of us can b too sure wat this kid is doin.

Your Florida recruiting guys are hanging on to the same tells that early on had him not leaving the state of Florida. They have refused to react to all of the new information out there either because they are not privy to it, or they just choose to value what they have heard personally over whatever noise they are hearing second, third-hand.

Look at the Rivals guys for a perfect example of not being so bullish that you miss on your prediction. Most every guy over there is saying that UT leads for Luc. The Charlie Stong relationship is not nearly as big a factor as it was before Luc developed a relationship with Monte Kiffin.

Unless Luc is playing the UT coaches, he will be a Vol. I just can't see that being the case.

Im not predicting Luc to Uf im just saying he is a silent to UT or a lock is litttle bit over doing it. I think this kid is a toss up and if he is truly visiting UF for the FSU game i think they have just as much of a shot as UT becuase of the fact that Luc seems to like every school he visits.

Not many here throw around the word "lock." You'll never catch me using it.

Florida is playing catch-up right now though as UT is clearly in the driver's seat -- at least from their standpoint. A toss-up is wishful thinking IMO. You may not like it, but that is the way it sits.

It wouldn't surprise me in the least if Luc makes it to the FSU game. Bear in mind also that he may be rooting for the bad guys as Luc grew up an FSU fan.

Link Please? I read where Alex stated that "Jeff calls Strong his uncle" so how is that overdone or not a strong relationship? Maybe the UT fans are overplaying Monte's relationship with Jeff and family. Charlie may get a HC gig this year but it's not going to be UVA. They had an "interest call" with former DC Mike London and "insiders" believe he's the front runner for that job so if Strong gets t a job from BCS school it may come from Terps or Illi if not he's still Gators DC. IMO if the parents don't make it back to UT then he won't leave state.

If Luc saw this he would either be impressed or almost frightened...ha.

I live in Port St Lucie, Florida and work with a guy (same office all day long) who trains local athletes in his time off. Jeff Luc and 4 other Treasure Coast high school players workout with him at Sportsman's Park in PSL on Sundays. Last nite Treasure Coast (which btw sports a power T clone on the side of their helmets) won their first playoff game. My coworker attended the game last nite. Jeff texted him this a.m. about how excited he was Urban Meyer and Charlie Strong were there and said nice things to him. But he loved his USC visit and was most impressed USC coach Todd McNair was there. My coworker definitely thinks USC is in the lead after his visit out there. Hope he changes his mind.

Your coworker is delusional. No way in hell a kid, who originally didn't want to leave the state of FL, is going to go to school all the way across the country.

Jeff has gotten little position coaching at Treasure Coast and at least he is aware of this. My coworker has worked with him on improving reads. He currently stands back and waits on the play to come to him. Seems Ken Norton really leveraged this during his visit out to USC and put the spin on preparing him to be a Super Bowl winning linebacker in the NFL. My coworker did say Monte's reputation in the NFL and CLK's playing freshmen is what is positive about Tennessee. Lance and Monte need to convince him they can teach him to be a better linebacker than Ken Norton Jr. can.

Didn't know Charlie Strong was there too. If that is true then that is a huge plus for Florida because Luc really loves him.

I do know that Urban Meyer and Pete Carrol were at the game though.

Lol, the last team I'm worried about is USC. No way he'll go across country for school. Way too far away from his family. The only reason he visited them in the first place was because Norton basically begged him to.

I doubt he was impressed with USC. The only draw about USC is they win every year, but this year has not been the case. I know our defense did bad against ole'miss, but I honestly think that is because of injuries and distractions.

USC is loaded full of talent and their defense is horrible. 55 points to Stanford, 38 to Oregon St. while Luc was there. Plus, their facilities are not that great at all. There is no way he is going to USC.

Luc will visit FSU unofficially this weekend. They are out of it so he's probably going just to have fun. His team won again last night with Urban in attendance. And like I predicted, he will announce in a few weeks so look out in early to mid December. It does not seem that he's a lock to EE but he I heard that as long as his online course goes OK he will EE. Here's a link about their last game.
