I am not real confident in him signing with us. It just seems he would have visited knoxville atleast one more time before our season is over.

I don't think his parents need to come to a game to feel the atmosphere. It is good, but parental concerns can be handled and addressed away from a game. I would have liked to have Jeff bring his parents up though. I sure hope we get him, we need a stud linebacker for the future and Jeff fits that role imo.

That is good news. I just don't want to get my hopes up for him to be a "Lock" and then for him not to sign with UT. That would hurt pretty bad. It looked like he was ours earlier, but I haven't heard much at all. I know he is a very tight-lipped recruit, but I just hope no information isn't bad news for us.

I think this one is an exception, Luc commiting would be big. very big.

but in all seriousness, I believe all I have been hearing about luc being a "silent", it may be wishful but i think our staff has convinced him and his family that he will have playing time on an impact defense with the best d-coordinator in the country

I'd love to get him here in the Spring so he can get a head start like Williams and Thorton did last year. He'd be ready to contribute by the Fall. Then hopefully I wouldn't have to hear the RW bull crap all the time.

Alex Luc, brother of five-star Under Armour All-American inside linebacker Jeff Luc (Port St. Lucie, Fla./Treasure Coast) spoke with ESPN affiliate Web site NoleInsider.com about schools in the mix for Jeff.

"We have visited Tennessee, USC, and we just came back from Georgia. He really enjoyed all of them. He just visited Florida. This upcoming weekend he will be going to visit Florida State."
"He is looking forward to enrolling early. He has some things to finish up. He has this online class that he needs to finish. That is the only obstacle in front of him right now."

I got ESPN because i like there basketball and NFL analysis. The FB recruiting was just a bonus.

so that guy on TOS, floridavol53 or whatever said Tobias Harris was a Tennessee lock. I saw a post that saying 53 called Luc a lock as well. Everyone made it sound like he is really respected and his info is always right. So did he actually say Luc is a Vol lock?
