Luc has relied on Treasure Coast linebacker coach and recruiting coordinator, Aaron Shepard, to help organize his recruitment. Shepard updated Luc's expected arrival in Los Angeles this week.
"He's coming," said Shepard. "He actually talked to Ken Norton earlier today, so he's set to visit."
If he doesnt decide to be a Vol, Id rather him go to SC than UGA or UF. I dont understand how Rivals can drop a kid SO far after just ONE bad game. Lattimore looked terrible against STA and he didnt lose his 5th star (that I am aware of). I want Luc to come to The Hill and be the next Al Wilson. A huge hitting, emotional leader.
It isn't one bad game. Luc has struggled all year at being consistent. He will make a big hit if he can get a clean shot on someone but he has problems shedding blockers at this point.
IMO Luc will be a Gator. I didn't want to mention that because I didn't want to turn this into a flame-thread. I have always felt that he was at least a year away from serious PT as a LB.
why do you think he will be a gator?
Even if he is it means very little. Silents mean nothing in recruiting. I feel that he will be a Gator close to or after the FSU game if all goes well. The one thing that does worry me is us thinking Hicks is a lock and then we slow-play the Luc because of that. Hicks could easily go somewhere else, even if things do look good for us right now.
I honestly dont think UF is high enough on him for him to end up a Gator. If they were, all the chatter wouldnt be about him and UT. UF is also stacked at LB, isnt it? Also, there is a good chance your DC will be a HC somewhere in mid-January.....especially if the D keeps playing at the level it is.
