I found this posted on another web site:
"At first, rumors swirled that he had given a silent to them. Then, UF insiders said it wasn't true, and FSU insiders later said that was true, that he hadn't committed to them. Then Luc himself said in an interview that he had not committed to FSU. I do think he's a lean, though; and the Brooks to FSU rumors seem to be fueling that opinion. He has said that wherever he goes, he wants assurances that the DC still be around when he arrives to play. That would seem to suggest that FSU is out of it, because Mickey Andrews has already stated that this is his last year at FSU; but the possibility of Brooks being on the staff has eased his mind about Andrews leaving. I think he told our coaching staff at one point that he just wanted to make sure Strong would still be at UF after this season. And I think Strong is due for a huge raise, and has said he wouldn't take a HC job anywhere unless the program was on the same level as UF... he'd rather be a DC at UF than a HC for just anybody."
