LV,

With a Luc Commit whats the chance of UT losing a commitment?

I dunno honestly. FSU would then have to go after other LBs, and they were high on Ralph Williams before he committed to UT. They might try to go after him again. Luc and Michael Taylor are both projected as MLBs so I don't know how it would affect Taylor. I can't imagine us losing Taylor though. He is too good to not be able to learn another LB spot. Luc could play OLB to free up Taylor at MLB too...

If you land Luc, you don't worry about losing commitments. You just find 2 guys who can fill the LB positions around him for 3-4 years because he will have 1 starting spot locked down for as long as he is on campus...

Luc could be the central piece to a top 3 class. The D-line is incredible so far, as well as the WRs. The Oline is still hurtin but that will change. Irvin is going to be a solid LB along with MT. Luc would just cap it off. I see him at a table with a Noles, gators, and hopefully a Vols hat. Hust hope he makes my day come Feb!

wasn't miller committed to FSU before this weekend when he switched to UT?! maybe he could give Luc a call and tell him that this is the place to be.

Hubbs says he's coming for the Auburn game for sure as of right now.

UT/UF battle here, let's just hope Charlie Strong gets a HC offer...or CUM gets courted by ND.

I just don't see him going to FSU with the struggles they're having and are going to have...but I honestly don't know either way. He may commit to FSU tomorrow for all I know.

H is a big time FSU lean...However he must be having 2nd thoughts or he would've already committed by now...Hope coach Gran is in his ear everyday and coach Monte is letting him know he is the player every team dreams of having.....Go get him guys!

Some seem to think he already has. He has been extremely tight lipped and hasnt really made it appear anyone leads but his brother otoh has and if you believe him, Luc is a FSU lock.

FSU here, but I do think we are making up ground. If you've learned anything from this staff, it's that they won't give up until a prospect signs an LOI. I still think it's a longshot, but there is no doubt we will be one of his top schools when he commits.

It's just going to be tough to get him away from FSU... Grew up a fan, and his family would like for him to stay close to home and really like FSU, and ultimately, that wins out in the end IMO.

But please trust me when I say with Bruce Irvin and Michael Taylor (and Ralph Williams for that matter) especially we are FINE at LB. We will pick up one more quality LB before national signing. Most likely Josh Shirley IMO.

Yes exactly! I know that Luc is the "rock star" of the LB class next year. However that doesn't mean there aren't other great prospects at that position.

Shirley would be a great addition, but Luc is my #1 GUY. Getting Miller to come to UT will help UT's cause vs. FSU. Tennessee is here for a battle with UF. We may get our tails kicked Saturday, but we are slowly winning some recruiting battles, soon it will translate on the field.

I don't know about the FSU lock thing. I don't have any inside information, but it appears to me that the coaching situation at FSU is kind of tricky. No one knows what Bowden will do after this season How long is he going to stay? If Bowden is gone, what about Mickey Andrews? Will Jimbo Fisher want his own DC? At Tennessee, he at least knows that the coaches are going to stay for a couple of years.

It has nothing to do with the coaches honestly. Its his favorite team and his familys as well. Thats a ton of pressure on him and its shocking hes not committed already.

I found this posted on another web site:
"At first, rumors swirled that he had given a silent to them. Then, UF insiders said it wasn't true, and FSU insiders later said that was true, that he hadn't committed to them. Then Luc himself said in an interview that he had not committed to FSU. I do think he's a lean, though; and the Brooks to FSU rumors seem to be fueling that opinion. He has said that wherever he goes, he wants assurances that the DC still be around when he arrives to play. That would seem to suggest that FSU is out of it, because Mickey Andrews has already stated that this is his last year at FSU; but the possibility of Brooks being on the staff has eased his mind about Andrews leaving. I think he told our coaching staff at one point that he just wanted to make sure Strong would still be at UF after this season. And I think Strong is due for a huge raise, and has said he wouldn't take a HC job anywhere unless the program was on the same level as UF... he'd rather be a DC at UF than a HC for just anybody."

IMO, Strong will be the #1 HC candidate this offseason, and it looks like Brooks might be headed to the Bears.

That makes no sense at all because hes an early enroll and will have no idea about coaching staffs status when he commits. Sure he may want to know but he wont know before he signs.
