"It was a great trip, just a great trip," Riggs said of the Knoxville experience. "I liked it a lot. I really enjoyed meeting with coach Kiffin and talking with both him and coach (Eddie) Gran. We had a really good talk about how I could fit in with what they do and everything. It was all real positive. I could see myself playing there."
VQ just spoke to Riggs and the Vols have GREATLY helped their chances this weekend. Riggs was planning on committing after his last visit in October. He has now delayed his commitment until December. He said the main reason he delayed it was because his mom didn't come with him on the trip this weekend. He has delayed it so his mom can get back up to UT with him later this fall. Very, very good news here...
"They are seriously in the mix now for sure, the visit helped Tennessee a lot," Riggs said of how things stand now. "I really just knew more about schools like Florida and Georgia because I had seen them up close. Now that I've been there (to Tennessee) and have gotten to know the coaches a lot better. I'm definitely looking hard at them now."
"My mom wasn't with me this weekend, and I really want her to meet coach Kiffin and get a chance to sit down with him and the coaches," Riggs said. "They can't make home visits until Dec. 1, so now I'm going to wait until after then to decide until after they get a chance to come down and come to the house."
