I have spoken with him numberous times on myspace. And I also agree with your point on how it's easier to say he's not coming than it is to prove he is coming..... but like I said I do have emails as recently as from this morning that led me to believe he's definitely not coming to Tennessee.

I wasn't doubting that you had the emails...I just mean that most of us are convinced he isn't coming to UT...so we don't even have to see the emails...

That's cool no problem. Alot of my buddies on here like to talk trash about how they know for a fact that he's coming and such. But I figured I'd inform those who thought he was still a lock for us was just inaccurate.

JS.... an allstar high school QB with the eyes of college football nation on him (not to mention his peers in CA too), with a hectic schedule of going to camps, practicing, negotiating with college football live producers to come to his house tomorrow... frequently takes time out of his day to email his personal thoughts to YOU???

It seems to me he would want to come here instead of USC. More than likely he would not play at USC until his JR. year or Soph.(if redshirted), here he would pretty much start as a Freshman. If it was you guys wouldn't you be more concerned with playing time instead of waiting 2-3 years?

If he is a Vol, great, if not, best of luck to the guy wherever he chooses. And best of luck to us on moving ahead after one of the biggest recruit announcements since Bryce Brown. We'll eventually find the QB that we've been looking for whether or not it's the '10 class or in the '11. Have confidence Vols fans!

I don't personnaly talk to him on the phone.... my dad does. I only talk to him through myspace and phone texts. We mainly talk about other things than football, cause that's all he hears 24/7. He's just a normal person trying to make the best decision for his future.

Ok now exactly where did I say that my dad told me a thing? I didn't, again assuming gets you no where. 2. I also said that my father is a friend of "his family" he does have multiple family members here. 3. I am well aware of the confidentiality so don't lecture me on that..... I said that from what " I have " gotten from JS personally, not from my dad.... but from conversations between JS and myself, that I believe he wouldn't be coming to Tn. Get your facts and assumptions straight.

In the new article thats up on the homepage its obvious that USC has him sold on the idea that the starter at QB is a position that could change hands at any moment lol its a joke but the hometown school will win out

That's a good summary of where we are. It probably does makes sense to see how the fall plays out and then go from there. By then, they'll also have a better evaluation on the 2011 candidates.

There are a few people on here that truly believe Scroggins will commit to UT tomorrow. I hope you guys are right, but I just don't see it. I think he goes to USC and he has known it for a while. I will actually be shocked if he picks UT. I hope I'm wrong.
