I don't think we'll have much choice personally. It will be year three in this rebuild before we have any type of shot at all at even getting to the SCG...that is 2011. The 2009 season is a transitional one, 2010 will be a real struggle and possibly a step back record wise from 2009 as we break in a very young Oline and possibly a Freshman QB and other young Kiffin staff recruits across the roster. 2011 will be year two with mostly Kiffin staff players with at least a year and in some cases two under their belts. Year I think it will be 4 years before we can start talking SEC championships. Getting their will be half the fun. Enjoy the ride at least it has a decent chance of trending up versus the down trend we've been on with a couple of dead cat bounces that were confused as progress.

OK....but lets say UT goes 8-4 this year and then 6-6 or 5-7 in yr two.......do you REALLY think people on this site are going to say, "well, we are getting better players. I think we are on the right track. I give them the benefit of the doubt."???

NO CHANCE! I agree the staff needs several yrs to fix the major issues needed, but this fan base will not put up with it! You see what 1 NC in 58 yrs has done.

Like I said before... I don't think UF is still actively recruit Scroggins. Could be wrong though...

If he want to play quickly he'll go to UT. If he want's to play in front of his dad he'll choose USC.

I thnk we should just stop praying for JS...I think he's USC and there has been little to show why he would come to UT. Unless he just really loves the coaching staff here more than USC, that is the only way he comes. But it is nice to imagine JS handing off to BB for a TD or JS playaction fake to a wideout.

I don't see how you get that means he is coming to Rocky Top?

Alot of this has signs that point to a Tennessee commitment. But this isn't one. I do think he will commit to USC. I am not so sure he will end up there though. I think Corp will start and do well. Barkley could even redshirt. Wherever he commits to this isn't over. Even though I kind of wish it was.

I expect about 8-5 after the bowl this year and around .500 next year.

We shouldn't be discussing east titles anyway. I personally expect a conference championship by year 5 or so.
