Technically rivals was right in this case. I don't know what two running backs scout had ahead of him but whoever they were, they weren't better than Reggie Bush. You're right about rivals not always being right though.

They had 4 ahead. 1 of was better IMO. Brandon Jacobs-he was a JC. The other three were were a JC named Alvin Marshall, then Lumpkin-UGA and then Summers-USClite

When you look at all of the runningbacks you're right. They just ranked the jucos as JC so I didn't realize there were two more guys ahead of him. On his profile it says he was the number 3 running back so I just assumed. Anyways, I agree Jacobs is the better pro back but I don't think he was a better college back. Reggie Bush had 1,740 yards while averaging 8.7 yards per carry in his final season at USC. He also had 478 yards receiving while averaging 12.9 yards per catch. That's insane.

Rivals did a ranking a while ago and they ranked each positions top five players since they had started the website.. bryce brown was the #1 running back and the only running back to ever be rated the #1 prospect in the country not sure about the rest thts all i remember... eric berry was the #1 corner

No way. Watch the video on Rivals of Scroggins talking about his final three. It is USC site. You can tell he really likes USC. There isn't any doubt. I hope the reports from his coach today are acruate. I hope he hasn't made his mind up. Because if he has I can't see it being anybody but USC from watching that video.
