There's more to it than football, that's what's hard for us to understand since it's the only mutual level we're on with the athlete.

I can perfectly understand a decision to go to USC even if he wasn't from LA and didn't have his current family situation.

I know some programs are probably more lenient than others when it comes to failed drug tests, but being the QB at any school comes with a GET LAID FREE card.

Why? Because he's committed somewhere else he can't take visits?? I wasn't aware that they implemented that rule.

Scroggins has said that he's going to take an official here as well. I doubt a commitment to USC would change that. It may be hard to pull him if he does commit to USC, but you gotta believe Kiffin is going to try.

One thing you guys should remember, or be aware of if you didn't know. Patrick Turner was all set to go to Tennessee. He was all but committed. He wouldn't even answer Lane's phone calls. Eventually he actually did pick up and said straight away "I'm not going to USC" and then hung up. Kiffin camped out in his driveway until he would talk to him. And we know how that one ended.

He won't give up if he thinks there's a chance.

The girls at SDSU are the same ones you see at your "special" web site the wifey does not know about and they are hot. I am not sure any academics of any value happen on that campus. There is a lay and then there is a LAY, just saying.

This kind of info gets me so pumped about our staff. If we recruit this hard and put in this kind of commitment into our practices, then the sky is the limit on the field.

I personally do not understand why Bray committed to SDSU as well. Maybe he knows something we don't but it was my understanding that if they did not get Jesse, it would come down to Bray versus Rettig. Maybe he pulled his pistol a little too soon and called his shot but it is not like people are breaking down walls to attend SDSU.

I know that Bray and Rettig went head to head after it was pretty much known that Jesse would get the offer but it is not 100% that Jesse will commit to USC


I think we should know more by the end of this week

SIAP but did anybody notice that Scroggins' scout.com profile lists USC as high interest, and the rest at medium interest? When has Scroggins ever said USC was leading?

The more I think about it, the more it seems like something is up...

I had heard that USC had given Jesse a time line in regards to making a decision and Bray was sitting on the sidelines watching. SDSU may have said "take it or leave it" and Bray took what was given versus waiting on Scroggins.

Now if Rettig Commits to Boston College tomorrow then we really know something is going on :eek:hmy:

probably because USC was the last camp he visited and lives 20 from campus

A major recruiting service, such as scout, shouldn't put USC on top without the prospect saying that the team is their #1. You just don't do it, and it just makes them look bad, and stupid, if they're wrong.

No, if we offer Rettig tomorrow, then we know something is up. Whoever doesn't get Scroggins is going to Rettig, he's practically said it himself.

Yeah i like Bryant, but IMO he's more about quantity, not quality when it comes to articles. That's why i like Brent and his staff more.

Anyways, back on topic. Where do you guys think Scroggins will end up?
