As a along time lurker I had to register just to say when I lived in Johnson City I would go to Hampton all the time. Great hiking country with the AT running near by, and Dennis Cove is a great place to camp.

Back on topic I was at a wedding yesterday following this thread on my mobile. It was like a roller coaster. I have faith that he will sign with us in the next 10 days. Nothing wrong with faith.

The only reason Florida wants this kid is so he doesn't come here. This business about Urban changing the offense is garbage. Scroggins rides the pine 4 years at Florida, plain and simple.

Florida would be none too upset if he chooses USC...or anybody except UT.

I've still got my 3D glasses from watching Disney's "UP" last week...perhaps he's using the same one's. I guess you have to take a big huff from a spray-paint can before you stare at the TV screen. :crazy:

If he makes the trip, it won't likely be to evaluate the Vols; it will be to help UT recruit.

Scroggins has said he will make a decision soon and seems to be leaning heavily toward UT, even though he has declined to name a leader.

Pretty strong IMO. If he's already going to official here for the UGA game, and he's making a decision next week.....it's gotta be the Vols. It just wouldn't make sense otherwise. He'll camp at USC, but I think he's already made his mind up.

I sure hope you are right. We need to get a big time QB committed so we can start pulling in other offensive players. Scroggins is a guy that can do that, IMO.

I'm assuming you mean official and the way Hooker wrote it, he made is seem as though he would only take one visit, and the one visit would be to Tennessee, insinuating that Scroggins would already be commited and recruiting other prospects at that time.

Also SIAP but a poster on rivals is saying Orgeron and Chaney are still going after OL James Hurst (5 star UNC commit)and that he will silently open up his recruiting and could take an official visit to tennessee if tennessee lands a big time QB (Scroggins). Don't know how valid the guy is, but it's the same person that said Dietrich Riley is a silent commitment.
