i'm not sure how you would know

you obviously didn't get to see the infamous "to the board" thread a few nights back...sab spent the better part of three hours photoshopping matt's face onto feminine hygene products and magazine covers of gay teenagers while the rest of the board relentlessly called him names.

That was funny, darnell over on the other board on Kevin's thread. I lulzed.

Ha, I was just messin with ya. It was pretty ironic though how we were talking about his lack of connections, then all of a sudden he posts that info.

Which anyone on this site could have come up with if they were a over-inflated braggart who likes to get attention.:)

Ya know, I get the feeling you don't like him too much.

It's just his attitude. He brings stuff to the table that you or I could come up with and have a very similar percentage of correctness on and then acts like he's somehow better than everyone else. And if he knows something but can't say it he always lets you know about it. But when he gets called out on it all he acts like he has no idea what people are talking about. I trust LWS any day before that joker. It's good that Brent lets him play journalist I guess. The outfit is probably tight on him though.

Ohio, Fla, Cali, Texas, and Ga are the top HS football states IMO. Kirk Hurbstreit (sp?) has a HS invitational games. MBA (i think) played someone and got killed. Ohio def has talent.

MBA actually played hendrix's very school, moeller, and won 21-6. this was mba's second game of the season last year. fyi.

After attending the Mission Viejo-Lakewood playoff game a year ago, BearTerritory knew immediately that two players from the victorious Lakewood team would be immediate Cal recruiting class targets in the 2010 class. Those players, cornerback Dion Bailey and quarterback Jesse Scroggins, made quite an impression that night, and throughout their junior seasons.

Scroggins, who stands at 6-foot-3, 190-pounds, finished his junior season with 2,462 yards passing with 23 touchdowns and 10 interceptions.

Per Rivals... Cal just offered Scroggins and Bailey...

To me, this is one of the big story lines of this recruiting season. Tennessee must sign at least one big-time quarterback. The new staff did not sign one with their first class, so this has to be the top priority in Knoxville.

So what's the Tennessee quarterback board look like? At this point, it appears the Vols will head West. Jake Heaps, from Sammamish (Wash.) Skyline, and Jesse Scroggins, from Lakewood (Calif.) High, appear to be atop their list. Chances are Heaps stays closer to home, and the Vols have a better shot with Scroggins. He may live in California, but he has lots of family in Nashville and Memphis. He has an offer from the Vols and hopes to visit Knoxville in July.

Others to keep an eye on include Austin Hinder of Steamboat Springs (Colo.) High, Andrew Hendrix of Cincinnati Moeller, Tommy Rees of Lake Forest (Ill.) High and Joseph Brennan of Cherry Hill (N.J.) Camden Catholic. Hendrix was offered a scholarship by Tennessee earlier today.

Despite the glaring need at this position, the Vols haven't gone hog wild and offered every quarterback with a pulse. I think you will see quarterback coach David Reaves, offensive coordinator Jim Chaney and the other Tennessee assistants make their May recruiting rounds, then try to get some of these kids into camp this summer.

Jamie Newberg...

I think that Scroggins and Hendrix are our two Qb's when the dust has settled this year.

Those two were the ones had marked down as my favorites but there maybe some other QB combos that may pop up here in the near future.
