it really is just a small pool of qb's.... if we miss on scroggins can see them waiting til the fall to take a qb commitment

see who has a good year this year and improves

Scroggins drops back to the 25... He see's Milton in single coverage. Scroggins goes deep.... Milton goes up and he gets it! He breaks the tackle... Milton to the 25, the 15, the 10, the 5, touchdown Volunteers!

YouTube - Tennessee Vols band playing Rocky Top 10/27

And on defense...

Here's the snap...Aaron Murray drops back for Georgia, and the pressure is on! Montori Hughes is closing in like a beast, but Murray evades the tackle. Finds his target, releases, finds Marlon Brown at the 35 across the middle, Luc and Berry zeroing in, get ready folks!!!!!

And there is the story of the first decapitation in a UT football game....and the headlines at his funeral read "Oh, if only he had picked UT."

yeah cuz of kiffin. hes been a ut lean this whole time thats why he wanted to do it on the 25th in the first place. just most people act stupid about it on here and freaks everybody out

Dude... if he chooses USC... please don't jump off your roof. I think it could go go either way and by assuming he is a lock for UT, I think you could be setting yourself up to be disappointed.

sounds like you guys are puttin all your eggs in one basket with scroggins, I mean who else is on the radar if scroggins doesn't commit to UT, because it seems like it would be somewhat difficult to lure a guy from california who has got offers from just about everybody? Who are UT's other options that could realisticaly commit to UT?

At Tennessee, we recruit from the top down and only take elite talent. At USuC, you recruit from the mid-level talent down and take whatever you can get.

In other words, the Connor Shaws, Dylan Thompsons, and Reid McCollums of the world aren't the type of guys that most SEC teams would have room for.

i know i am not a crediable poster on here due to tha fact of getting blasted on but its my gut feeling that he is gonna be a VOL due to tha simple fact that USC offer came in to late. IMO if they really wanted him they could have offered way before their camp due to the fact that he is in their back yard. to me it seems to be one of those see wat you missed out on kinda things is tha only reason he whent to the USC camp to begin with

!!!GO VOLS!!!

The QB recruiting sure worked out well for you didn't it? Relying on J. Crompton to step up isn't exactly a good thing.

IMO it doesn't make any sense because Kiffin would want him to go ahead and commit to help out with recruiting.

I get a better feeling about this guy every day. I don't know why, but like....I just do. I just think that Kiffin and staff have got this plan, and its' working. I mean, i know that players commit together, Jake Heaps committed to BYU with like two other players....and if anyone could have gotten spotlight, it would have been Heaps. If Jesse and Dion were BOTH going to USC....I don't see why both of them either would have 1) Committed yesterday at the same time, or 2) wait until BOTH of them could get on ESPN and do it at the same time there. Like, if I'm Dion, and I'm committing to USC, and Jesse is committing to USC....and I have a chance to get on ESPN with Jesse....I'm going to do it.

But they didn't. Which makes me wonder. A lot. Jesse and Dion would NOT go on National TV and be like "Well, I'm committing to USC....and I am committing to the University of Tennessee." You just don't do that. And since the spotlight on ESPN was intended for Jesse....I'm really starting to believe that he is going somewhere other than SC. Now, I could be wrong, and understand there is a VERY big chance that I am. But I just don't see the logic. If he was sold on USC, he would have committed yesterday with Dion, or Dion would wait to commit with him. Just how I see it.

I think we might have another Bryce Brown type surprise coming...just with a little more preparation. We're actually somewhat thinking this could happen.
