He rushed for 1,000 yards and threw for 1,400 as a senior in HS. That's the last time he has accumulated any type of statistics to show what kind of player he is. That doesn't seem like a pass first kind of guy at all.

True . . . but the list of big QB's with big arms that have turned out to be busts is much shorter than the list of small QB's with no arms that turn out to be busts.

I can agree with that assessment. Who knows, he could play under center well, but at this point in his career I don't think he has taken 1 under center in college. That doesn't bode well for trying to coach him to do it well with no background for what he would be trying to accomplish.

Dude, I haven't even heard of that guy. I think we are arguing guys that played in a spread-like system since the spread has only existed in it's current form since Drew Brees and Jim Cheney. About that timeframe I mean.

Warren Moon. He's gotta count. All he played in the CFL was spread, shotgun formation. Pass, pass, pass.
