I thought that situation was odd myself..didnt want to participate in teh camps at UT but did at USC..that is what has me concerned..seems like he thought he was too good to try out for us..

I would rather take retting or Lamison that has heart and WANTS to play for UT..

The kid may also be smart and know what it takes to achieve your goals. His goal may have been getting an offer from USC....even if he was going to turn it down. Causing your injury to flare up by participating in a camp where you already have an offer is not a good way to ensure you achieve that goal. It may have been pragmatic...it's hard to know how to read it.

I don't think these developments shake up well for us.

Remember that Scroggins didn't participate AT ALL during Florida's camps. Ut is not the only one in this boat. So if your scenario is true UF should be worried too.

He obviously wanted to PERFORM at USC. Why? Because he HAD TO in order to get an offer. He already had an offer from us, and it sounds like he tried to go through workouts. CLK probably told him, like some other kids at camp (there were a few that were just visiting...like Blake Sims...but ended up working out), that they didn't need to, but encouraged them to participate nonetheless. Jesse probably loaded up on pain killers/muscle relaxers for the SC camp and played through the injury...cause it was a competition for the spot, unlike our camp.
That is probably the reality of it, IMHO.

UF isnt that worried consider they have Brantly and a pretty good QB commit already in this class.

Is that he committed to USC but will not announce until his Elite 11 camp next month.

If true, there are no good QBs left on the board for Kiffin.

Bet he sure is kicking himself now for getting rid of Boyd.

from LSU's board

Q: Did Jesse commit to USC this past weekend at their camp?

A:“No sir, neither of us have made a decision yet,” Bailey said. “I know Jesse really loved his trip to Tennessee, all the great things he has told me about it, makes me want to see it that much more.”

.

I love it especially considering you said you watched the A's growing up and knew them well since you were from Cali.

I never said I knew all about those A's teams because I was from Cali. I said, and still maintain, that I know about those A's teams.

Go sell a cell phone.

You have to like how Bailey turns a USC question to a UT answer.

Uhh ok.

Rex, it seems like most people connected with UT don't have a clue about JS... is that your take?
