If you guys think Waggner is that good then we are in major trouble. We took 7 dbs which should let you know that our secondary sucked.

Everybody loves the news guys best, but I doubt anyone beats out Waggner unless he gets hurt.
Normally, you would have a solid point here. But Moore isn't just an ol' freshman coming in. He's one of the Southern Cal transfers, like Malik Jackson was. You may recall Malik Jackson not only taking over a starting job, but also becoming our best lineman.
If Moore doesn't beat out everybody in our current secondary, it's a disappointment.

With JJ gone, Moore will play safety. Evans, Coleman, Gordon, or Oliver are going to be the only guys to potentially beat out Teague or Waggner at corner.
You forgot about Lanier, I imagine he will start. And I don't believe Evans will be a part of the team next year.

Jackson isn't gone. He's just taking this semester off.

Didn't forget him. I know a lot of people are high on Lanier, and he very well could be a good player for us, but I don't see him beating out Waggner or Teague. JUCO's are hit and miss, and LWS said he still has some classroom work to do.
I really like Teague's athleticism, and I think he starts for sure. The staff likes Waggner's experience as a safety and corner allowing them more flexibility on the field, which means he'll probably be the nickel if someone takes his spot. Like I said before, I think it's Gordon or Oliver...maybe Evans.

*If Lanier has a good Spring & Summer camp, if not, Gordon.
In rotation and 5th DB (4-2-5) Waggner.
Too, I anticipate Coleman, Evans, Oliver, Martin, and Randolph in the rotation. IMO.
He doesn't even break up any passes. He can't tackle and he doesn't really compete well either.

Everyone gets pumped about JUCOs because they're supposed "to help out now." But it rarely works that way. Newton, Fairley, and Cody are high profile examples that have been wildly successful, but our recent JUCOs have not.
Simms, Gooch, and Rivera all saw time. The only with a chance to have a useful career is Rivera - the other two got beat out by true freshman. And one was a lefty that never played center.
John Brown and Dave Clark never qualified.
Rae Sykes, Stephaun Raines, and Nick Lamaison provided nothing more than bodies to practice against.
I'd be willing to bet a look at all the teams in the SEC would show a similar trend.
I hope Lanier gets here in the summer and contributes immediately in the fall, but I'm skeptical. IIRC, Auburn dropped him and Ole Miss passed on him.
Though it's partially a function of depth and lack of talent, I think the fact that Evans has started for two different staffs - including as a sophomore - shows that he competes.
In a couple years, our secondary will good enough to where a guy like Art Evans would be happy to play nickel. But right now, I think it's highly unlikely that any of the freshman will see the field more often than him. As long as he keeps paying for his car.
