I really don't care if you want to or not, but you talk about potential with Lanier. Teague has much more potential than Lanier ever thought about having. He was switched at the last minute to DB, and he played pretty good considering that. Teague will be starting next year.

1st "at best" meaning when he played at his best he was Average. at no point did he get out there and shut anyone down.

Teague is a 5'9 CB without elite speed and he's not a physical guy who can just redirect WRs at the LOS.

The "At best" part means that no matter how good he learns the system, he will always be average.

Yeah that's about right. But I think Teague would have had one of Vandy's CB spots. I know Casey Hayward has game though. But I like Teague's game as well. I would bet he is one of the most improved defenders on next year's team.

Not many true sophomores, especially ones who've never played DB, start as sophomores. I know it's a function of depth for us, but he did a good job given his inexperience and youth. Dude has the potential to be a player.

Agreed, losing JJ puts Tennessee in a (more) difficult position...until some of the youth gain experience and knowledge. Hopefully, the third time is a charm for EL.

C-*Lanier / Gordon. *Lanier gets the nod to start w/ good Spring and Summer camps.

*EL qualifies, BM moves to corner. IMO.

Anderson, Coleman, Evans (Heaven help us), *Martin (Academics?), Oliver, Randolph, Sapp, & Thomas.
