09 CA S Byron Moore - UT Commit

Looks like a big Miami lead to me. They get the last visit before signing day, and I would think he signs there unless the visit really sucks. (It will not because its Miami.....beaches, girls, parties, fun fun fun.)

UGLY facilities. Not everyone wants that life though. He has a kid an I'm guessing he still with his baby's mom. The whole party might not ve attractive after that comes into play. Plus they just got waxed by ND.

Moore has eliminated Ole Miss, final 3 are Oregon State, Tennessee, & Miami. Moores dad is pushing Miami.

Kinda hard to tell what he is even looking for in a school with a final 3 like that

Oregon St - wants to stay in his home region, even if it means going to a less-than-stellar program

UT - wants to play in a program on the rise in the best conference in the country

Miami - wants to hit the beach

Don't sell Mike Riley short. He's a solid coach. The USC job would have been his had he wanted it.

As long as he keeps talking about Miami I'll feel safe with where we stand...

Kinda like D. Arnett with USC.

The reason he is still considering Oregon State is because he has a great relationship with one of the assistant coaches, he has been recruiting Moore since he was a Junior in High School. I dont think he ever took a OV to Oregon State in High School though.

Miami does have a good reputation of putting DB's into the league, particularly safetys. Not in the last 2 or 3 years but Merriweather and Phillips are a few to name of late

thats a cop out for anyone to say his dad is pushing him to Miami. He likes miami as well

Byron has to be reading the board because he had a tweet that basically said what you said about the three school.

Not 17 players......

I have no idea where I got 17 players from..... it was 4 players drated from Miami in the 1st round that year. I believe what I heard was that the 2001 Miami team had 17 players drated in the 1st round from it, not that year. Sorry.

that 2001 team is a curse for the current canes...always getting compared to them..its not fair to them
