09 CA S Byron Moore - UT Commit

After UT lost last night he changed his twitter profile picture tifwiw.

What did he change it from and to?

Regardless...it's very rare for one game to change a recruits opinion of a team...it has to be something really extreme (i.e Leak feeling that his brother got screwed over, Nunes not liking the distance from CA and the boos at the stadium, etc.) for a recruit to completely lose interest in a team

especially a game like last night. it'd be one thing if unc beat us 50-0 which could've convinced a recruit that the team was headed in the wrong direction. but no recruit would completely lose interest in us because of a 2OT defeat with several questionable calls.

If Wilcox leaves so be it. Guy needed to draw up a scheme to stop them from getting 40 yards in 32 seconds and couldn't. Puts 4 at the line when we've been getting no penetration all night and leaves the WR's in single coverage on the edges. Bad play calling.

Did he just get bumped up in the Rivals rankings or what? He's now a 5.9 4*. #5 overall JuCo player, between #3 and 4 overall Safeties.

Yes, Rivals updated the JUCO players today. Moore is now a 4* & jumped 20 spots to the 5th best JUCO in the nation.

How huge would it be to land the #5, #7 and #9 JUCO's in the country...all at positions of need

Huge. It's helped Alabama and auburn the last few years bringing in jucos. Not saying that will give UT the same immediate success, but it's definately going to help stabilize some of the glaring holes UT has on defense for 2011.

We need Jucos. JC's can take a top 30 team and turn them into a top 10 team. The impact can be that strong. You swap out ok players for top shelf Jucos in 3 or 4 positions and your suddenly a strong team.

After watching last nights game CB is a weak spot. Teague and Waggner are okay but not very athletic. Moore may be the most important recruit we are looking at. He would definitely start day 1. Athleticism is off the charts.

Teague is a good athlete. He had a big hit yesterday. Waggner on the other hand is functional at best. Coleman and/or Moore will be welcome additions. Got to get these additions here.

I havent been overly impressed with Teague as of late but hes also had that toe problem. With a full offseason at CB he could be good your right

I'm not calling him a shut down CB or anything. But he has improved as the season has gone along.
