09 CA S Byron Moore - UT Commit

I have a good feeling about this kid, he really liked his visit and he sees playing time early since he is a JUCO player. GBO!

Moore will visit Oregon State Jan 14 & Miami Jan 21, he will decide on NSD. Also, Dooley still has a in home visit he can use with Moore. One thing to point out here is that Wilcox is heavily involved in his recruitment, IF he leaves then things could shake up a little.

I just have a feeling we lead @ this time.
"I'm going to definitely watch them. I know Tennessee plays Thursday and I think Miami plays Friday. But, I'll definitely catch both of them," Moore said.
Maybe I pay attention to little statements? I believe TN has the most stable coaching situation out of the teams, Miami's coach hasn't had the time with him like Dooley.
Coach Dooley is a good guy, a real player's coach.
Even if CJW leaves I believe the relationship with Dooley is 2much.

If Dooley can overcome what he did last year I think he can handle one coordinator leaving.. Whatever he did to smooth things over last year will make this seem like nothing at all.

From the Rivals article I would guess that Oregon State has the best relationship with him but I would guess we are his #2

From what he said in the article it would appear visiting Oregon St. is bascially a courtesy thing for him because they recruited him in highschool and never lost contact with him...

I think if he leaves the West coast...which appears likely...then he's all Vol...

I feel really good about our chances after reading that article

Jay, how are the Canes gaining ground so fast? They barely have a full coaching staff. Not doubting you, just wondering what's going on.

They don't have a lot of spots to fill. This isn't going to be a big class for the U, so they can focus on a smaller allotment of players. Not sure how much it helps, but I'd imagine it helps their efforts a little.
