i do believe frank was the front runner to take over celtics when doc. rivers was going to retire....he should know what it takes to get kids to the nba.....great for recruiting ?

It will be a good hire (hopefully). CBP brought the program to a new level. It should be a desired destination for a new coach. Maybe a couple of speed bumps but it will be a top 25 program again.

I might be wrong but i think he was considered to be head coach of celtics before Doc. Rivers returned. A very good hire IMO....
