SDSU had an amazing 12 tackles for loss in the game. The Bruins blocking must have been pretty lousy.
This was the sloppiest opening weekend of football I can remember. I'm not going to make too much of any team, whether good or bad. Ole Miss does have a lot of talent.
Cool thread. It is good to see a mixture of names being thrown out. Some younger fans may not know about great players like Doug Atkins or Terry McDaniel, or simply a good role player like Shawn Bryson. I love to see guys like that getting the attention they deserve.

Clawson is a good coach, but trying to fit a square peg into a round hole just doesn't work. His offense needs a certain kind of players. Clearly none were here last year.
USC has been a great program under Pete Carroll. They tend to play good teams well and then lose to a lesser team like Oregon State or Stanford. I bet USC would give Florida all it could handle. I'd love to see that matchup.
I don't know that I would say Monte's scheme is all that aggressive. He prefers not to blitz. His scheme is all about team speed and flying to the football. His best teams were able to generate pressure with the front four and then have the back seven cover tightly.
