So im not a big fan of the guy. The offense was horrible due to him. So ive got a question... Could Bowling Green score on our 3rd team defense?

That hasn't been proven just yet.

If the whole offence we 5th year seniors who had used and been in his system for that period, I would say yes.

All the blame can not be placed on one particular person Dave tried to run his offense but ole Phil had the final say.. that's what I take from it anyway.

I love Fulmer for what he accomplished, but I don't think the blame can be put on Clawson with his track record. You can say he didn't have enough time (his teams usually got it offensively the second season) or that Fulmer took the reigns but ultimately, I give him a grade of INCOMPLETE. Bowling Green in 2-3 years will be the true test.

Clawson is a good coach, but trying to fit a square peg into a round hole just doesn't work. His offense needs a certain kind of players. Clearly none were here last year.

And don't forget, by Fulmer's own admission last year, he changed at least 30% of the plays from what Clawson wanted to run. So there is blame to go around.

He'll do just fine at bowling green. It definitely wasn't all his fault last year. For all the talk about changing the offense last year.... It looked earily similar to what we'd been running forever, thats not by coincidence. He found a job faster than fulmer that should tell you something.

Richmond had two offensive players drafted after the 2007 season (Clawson's last year there).

What offensive players were drafted from the 2008 Vols offensive squad?
