You are looking at this too simply. That 100M goes to much much more than just football. Athletic departments are much like corporations. They have high overhead costs. Just think about everything that has to get funded. 1M for a coordinator is 1/100 of that budget. Doesn't that seem like a lot...

The decision to shell out a million on a coordinator is one that is made with high level donors. We could easily get a coordinator for much less (as we are all aware). Ticket prices pay for our great facilities and stadiums (among many other things).
