It seems like uniform variations can be implemented for a variety of reasons: - bring a some new energy to a stagnant program - a surge in revenue $$$, everyone has the legacy jerseys and hats...need to create some new cash flow... - give vol nation something to debate I think going old...

our society, sports fans, and leagues are weird when it comes to this kind of thing. if i remember correctly in 2007 bill belichick got hit with a big fine for cheating yet got voted coach of the year??? i have a lot of respect for coach barnes and i hope he is awarded the recognition.
