Kiffin is spouting off at the mouth and wouldn't come here because of possible sanctions as well. While I applaud Chadwell for a great season he's even less qualified than Heupel with no SEC or big 5 experience.
Do you really know if any of those coaches would have actually come here? I keep hearing should've gone after Malzahn or another big name....well hate to say with possible looming sanctions no big coach wants to touch it. Besides I'm excited to have someone that's actually coached top QBs over...
The recruits have better info on the program than volnation does. I'm more willing to bet they already have an idea who the OC is going to be or lined up to be hence the reason we are adding recruits not losing them
If it's family reasons then wish you best.....if you can't handle competition then there are better players ready to step up. Give me a lower ranked player willing to fight for his position than a player thinking it's owed to him.
While I can understand trying to keep the staff as a whole together to build a program, but we were ranked 87th I think in offense last year. Is it such a loss? The talent is coming in......need an offensive coordinator that's going to make that talent a top 25 or better offense.
It's not a bad idea in recruiting multiple QBs. Take TCU and Oregon for example.....they recruit athletes that can handle the ball and make them better position players. Not all these guys are SEC quality at the QB position, but they are athletes and can play WR, DB, you name it.
If you can't hack it move on. I don't care if you are a 5 star. Any top D-1 program in the country you are going to have your coach on your a*# every single day. Deal with it or go to some small college and be treated like a princess. I will say there are some coaches that may overstep, but in...
If you look at the offense, most of the handoff plays are read option. Worley hasn't pulled the ball and kept it until UTC. There have been plenty of times that he could've pulled it and had open option outside to tuck and run.
To actually answer the question it's what the SEC called a bridge schedule because of the other 2 teams joining conference. They are working this coming year to adjust the schedule for 2014 and beyond so they can try and get all the traditions to remain.
MUDDVOL----The new bats they have been using past couple years are suppose to mimic wood bats so there isn't as much pop in them. Homeruns that were barely clearing the fence a few years ago are lazy fly balls now. Personally I like the new modifications because it brings the game back into it...
That's because Easton didn't release a true up to standard BBCOR bat last year. They were behind on it so they waited until this year. I have tested most BBCORs personally and also have spoke to many people who have purchased them and the consistant feedback is the S3.
