Coach Z a candidate for HC at CMU? (merged)

I put the blame directly on the negavols for busting our O coaches asses all year long. They didn't get it, didn't want them here...were slow to realize what we had (what's new?) and intentionally pushed these coaches out. Both would have stayed if they felt this was home.

Nice job again negas .:clapping: Go find another school already.

U should have used blue font n if serious omg...lol I thought posters on VN had zero power to influence cbj n staff from play calling to recruiting..

N now vn has the power of change... Hart r u listening..lol

You did this movie last year with "Kiss A Top 25 Class Goodbye"...kinda bombed  Been eagerly awaiting your epic comeback...remember Ed Wood was a volume shooter too. :clapping:

now it all makes sense...

but to get this off topic and quickly,Ed Wood's classic"Glen or Glenda?", thumbs up or down? inquiring minds want to know...

Its the end of the world as we know it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now with Azzani reported (GoVolsExtra) to be interviewing with Central Michigan and P Williams just about coming out and flat saying if Azz leaves, he's probably going to end up at GA or Auburn, Butch better be doing some serious circling of the wagons and doing damage control or this whole thing is gonna blow up in everyone's face.... I have to be honest, I kind of get the Azz thing since Central Michigan just opened up, but losing two offensive coaches, one being the freakin recruiting coordinator, two weeks before signing day is not good and doesnt look good to recruits. One of the most important pieces to the puzzle of a successful program is stability, and we haven't had that in 5 years.... Can't believe "the best staff in America" who are "building houses in Knoxville and not renting" is coming apart brick by brick.... We will seriously be lucky to hold onto those we have committed, with a couple (P Williams) jumping ship unless Butch stabilizes the ship PRONTO. We can forget Allen, Love, Richmond, or anyone else on offense until things get sorted out and stabilized and unfortunately there is little if any time and hardly anyone is left out there to poach.... I hate it for the program because we had all this momentum going into February and then BAM, its all seemingly going down the drain.... If Williams flips to the Barn like the Texas kid did $$$$ and you know schools are now in freak mode calling our recruits using this instability against us, and ole Vicky W tucks his tail along with Jenky, we are going to be in trouble again at WR in a couple of years... Lets cross our fingers something happens fast... Its time for us to see just how good Butch is....
Oh, and stop it with the "It happens at Bama every year" thing because they have these things called NC rings and a positive track record the past 5 years and all we have is a broken coaching carousel.....

At least you're consistent in the garbage level quality of your posts. Kudos.

Also isn't this similar to dools 3rd yr..everybody on def booked n sal was hired because no one wanted to work for dools

Cbj the off staff leaving...oh no..wait..

Jk relax but it is weird the similarities.

Why is this Butch's fault? Coach Z wants the opportunity to be a head coach, an Coach Jake has been looking for an NFL job. Both of those guys have worked with CBJ for years. When coaches are successful they get opportunities like this.

What these guys want is another stinking filthy bama. They want an orange bama. Even tho we are better than that. Even tho we do things the UT way. They look through crimson eyes. Filthy bama sausage eaters.

While I can understand trying to keep the staff as a whole together to build a program, but we were ranked 87th I think in offense last year. Is it such a loss? The talent is coming in......need an offensive coordinator that's going to make that talent a top 25 or better offense.

Butch is in place that he will be able to pick from many coaches out there. All returning on both sides of the ball. Great class last year and will be this year.

Both of the coaches leaving have worked with CBJ for years. They have better opportunities. Heck Bajakian has been his OC at every stop. This isn't anything like Dooley.

Also, I think this a good opportunity to come out and say I think you're a vandy troll. Your name says you're a vol alum but you can barely type a sentence. You also have nothing to say positive about anything and constantly demean other posters. The act is getting old.

Great post. Look at what Butch put together at his previous stops. He has much more to sell to coaching candidates from here. Upgrades are possible. And with the talent on the roster, not a lot of who he goes after won't give a listen.

How can Butch control whether or not a coach is hired away for a Head Coaching position (who is currently an assistant)?????????

Do you think Butch Jones should step down as Head Coach and just coach WR and offer to hire AZZ as Head Coach just to keep him on staff?:
