I have three cigars from Bama victories. The only year I was at UT and we lost to Bama was a miserable 6-3 game in Neyland. I have a lot of fond memories and keepsakes from my time with the Vols.

The only scary scene I remember was waking up in a South Carolina hotel to find the sheets dotted with drops of blood from all the bed bug bites. Some players and staff had random rashes too. We did not stay in the same hotel on the next trip to play SC.
As a former equipment manager for the Vols, I can tell you that this is pretty standard. We almost always stayed in hotels an hour or so away from the gameday stadium. I would rather the players take an hour bus ride to the stadium than stay in a hotel packed with UK fans.
