    Biscuits or Cornbread?

I always heard that "dinner" is the largest meal of the day, and "supper" is the evening meal. Apologies if someone already gave this answer, but I couldn't read 6 pages to find out. Err...make that "wouldn't."

Lane Kiffin: Huge Tennessee fan or huge troll?

Loves the attention from trolling, but probably has genuine regrets about leaving the way he did--only in retrospect after failing at USC, but still.

2-0, but a wasted opportunity in Week 2

I took it as he didn't see Indiana State as a threat at that point. If the QB competition all off season was real (instead of attempting to appease JG's attitude), he needed to see meaningful snaps in a real game to judge him. That means not garbage time stats, and this was the game to do that.

I'm in the camp of "He's better than any other option." I'd rather have 11 people lined up correctly and 1 liability (easy folks, I know we have more than one liability. Just making a point) than 1 athlete and 11 people lined up incorrectly. Jumper's a liability and we know that. We don't have...

2017 Vols will have the #1 or #2 ranked DEFENSE in the SEC

We learned enough for you to use it as a basis for continuing to stand behind your outlandish predictions...not like we were expecting anything else.

    The Crow Thread

Maybe, except for the 5 drops in the first half (not sure of exact number, but plus or minus one, I bet I'm close) makes it hard to manage the clock, and the defensive play calling is also hard to pin on the coaches (especially considering removing Justin martin from the starting CB position...

I just wish they had played Dormady this whole time...Dormandy is a scrub and almost single-handedly cost us the game! Herbstreit was aghast at how bad Dormandy was! Thank god CBJ decided to put Dormady in! blue font (I hate that this is necessary...)

    Playing with/against Vols

Played soccer against Britton Colquitt a couple of times in competitive leagues. Once we both went for the ball and missed, colliding shins. Even with shin guards, I could barely stand long enough to get to the sideline, and was off my feet for about 24 hours before I felt like I could support...

I agree that he has more work to do. Not about the 50 coaches.

I agree. But if Jones is such an unimpressive coach (don't misconstrue me as a Butch-devotee, because I am not), doesn't that make it more impressive that he was able to win the commitment of the #1 ranked player in the country over two playoff teams? Alabama is about to put 4-5 kids into the...

I don't think anyone said it was "Herculean," merely impressive, and worthy of recognition--not dismissed out of hand as apropos just because the kid is in state. I also don't think they are looking at UT as "so lowly," but when it's been almost a decade since we even won our division, and...

Thank you for the merge, mods.

    Word on Hurd??

He caught a touchdown after that happened, so he clearly returned to the game. After that, however, I don't believe he did return, and did not appear to have an injury--though that was the reason given after the game (a seemingly intentionally vague reason, at that). Which lends credence to...

    Word on Hurd??

Thanks for the insight, makes the timeline make much more sense. Hope his "bulldog" mouth got left behind at Sanford Stadium.
