Recruiting to UT will be considerably easier than Ok state. Not a ton of instate talent here(oklahoma) and OU snatches them up. He has to heavily recruit in Texas and that's after OU, Texas, and aTm have already picked thru them all.

I can't come up with 10 believable coaches that would fit this narrative more than Gundy.

The mullet, aka Kentucky waterfall, Tennessee top hat, the number 7, the LPGA, camaro cut, and Mississippi mud flap, is a hair style popularized in the 80s. It is a style where you keep the top short and business like while growing it out in the back. It's considered to be a "redneck" look.

That might be one of the best records any one coach has had against OU.

Those fans are in the minority. Anyone who watched Okie state before Gundy was hired knows he is the best thing to happen there. I've NEVER heard anything but praise about him, even from sooner fans.

I can't believe I'm saying this as I thought Gundy was as far fetched as gruden. If Robert Allen thinks it's a possibility, then Gundy might actually have legitimate interest.

His haircut is so far down the list of things to make fun of the Vols for. He knows it is a goofy cut, yet he rocks his "Tennessee Tophat" with confidence. When you do what he has done, you can sport any hairstyle you want.

I ran it thru Google maps and it took me thru Knoxville. Just tried it again and it routes me way north of Knoxville now. I stand corrected.

I had no idea where in Knoxville the trucks were/are. I didn't realize they were on the west side. That doesn't make sense, but neither does sending 4 MNF trucks for ESPN to do a segment on someone that was leaving them. I want him as much as anyone, but the trucks don't really sway my meter.

I'm no slueth, but MNF next stop is Charlotte, NC. The route from Green Bay to Charlotte takes you right through Knoxville. It's a 15 hour drive. Seems reasonable that they would stop around Knoxville on the way.

In my 45 years I have never heard this story and suspect it will stay with me for the remaining years. I got a good laugh and hope to find a situation where I can use it. Thank you.
