This staff understands that building relationships with these kids pays off unexpected dividends later. Such is reality when dealing with 17-18 y/o's. I hope Coach Graham can get us in with this kid. Makes zero sense why he wouldn't listen to us, purely from a practical standpoint.

I believe this is the case. The previous year's number becomes irrelevant with respect to the following year (as long as under 85), and the EE's are counted back to the previous year.
