I am not saying Bourque couldn't start nor Blue but there running styles and body types don't lend them to be an every down type of back in the SEC.
Blue is effective because by the time he comes in, usually in the 3rd/4th quarters the opposing D has already had a steady dose of RBs. Blue actually started out as a freshman last year as the #2 back, he vaulted over both Ford and Ware. However, by the end of the year both Ford and Ware had solidified themselves.
As far as Bourque, he is a change of pace back and would be more effective in a Blue-ish kind of role which is why most schools were looking at him as an athlete, WR or even defensive player.
Unfortunately, I don't know Bourque is going to have the patience to work out at any position.
