i'm willing to bet Vandy is more like a 8 or 10 seed, even if they win a game or 2 in the SECT. if you go look at their schedule, they have losses to furman and appy st, and their best win out of conference is against Ga Tech. their next best win is against Wake Forest.

the selection committee typically doesn't like rematches. i'd think a first round game against winthrop would be unlikely if they could avoid it.
