And I don't think there is any doubt that both Memphis and the Vols are #1 seeds right now. What a shame it would be if neither made it because they cannot shoot a @#% free throw.

I know what you are saying and if the Vols don't win it all, I hope the Tigers do. I have met Cal several times and he has been great for that program and the city. I just cannot figure his history of poor free-throw shooting teams at Memphis.

They just cannot afford to keep that low ft percentage deep in the ncaa's to keep advancing. Just remember Darius Washington choking while Petino watched and smiled...

Two reasons why Memphis may not make it to the final four...1) freethrows 2) Dorsey disappearing in crucial situations (like last year).

Kemp has been struggling with playing time recently because of bad decisions and defensive lapses. At least this is what Cal has been saying.

Prep school is the reason the Univ. of Memphis is undefeated in b'ball this year. Took the entire starting lineup of Laurenburg Prep (undefeated and national prep school champions) several years ago. Three of those guys are starters now.
