I will personally be cheering for a four point Bama lead with 5 seconds left on the clock and the gators with the ball at the Bama two yard line. I would absolutely love to see Tebow do one of his "Jump passes" in to the end zone as time expires only to see the referees flag flying in the...
I came up with 9131. That still may be off a day or two. I just multiplied 25x365 and added 6 leap year days. A long time no matter how you slice it! Three classes have graduated from UK without a football victory in their entire lives!
I agree about Stanley Morgan. When he was at Tennessee he was clocked at a 4.2 forty back in the days when that just didn't happen! He played in the days when the ball just didn't get the air time that it does today. He is in the New England Patriots Hall of Fame and was several times All-Pro...
1992! We left UT at about 10:00 p.m. We got in Athens wearing our UT Orange and White and stopped in the Waffle House. I thought a fight was going to break out, but my friend and I are pretty big boys so I guess that persuaded them otherwise. We got our tickets about 4 hours before kickoff and...
Joe Cox will lead the Bulldogs out
The Georgia fans will give them a shout
Three plays will go by and UGA will punt
There will stand Coach Richt looking like Helen Hunt
Yeah all we need to do is put a big video of "Natch" whooing when the band gets to the right moment. Maybe that would finally lead to the demise of the "whoo"!
1985 Auburn game. Yeah, that was the way to start your Neyland experience! Auburn, of course, was ranked #1 in the country with Bo Jackson running the football. It wasn't even close, the big orange ruled that day 38-20! Tony Robinson was a bad dude! Too bad he liked to sniff the goal line in...
The thing I remember about that game was an offensive lineman (I do forget who) was injured about half way through the game. The offensive line seemed to do a much better job once the reserve lineman came into the game. The reserve offensive lineman -- Chad Clifton!
I can almost see Florida going undefeated through the season and SEC championship just to get their heads so high in the clouds that a hungry USC, Texas, or Oklahoma knocks them off.
I've said this on every board I've posted on, FSU stopped Nebraska with the exact same type of athlete that UT possessed at about the same time! Our problem was John Chavis! Chavis couldn't keep Air Force from running the frickin' option on Tennessee!
Funny how so many act like we didn't deserve the one championship, but nobody complains about why in the world we won only one with the talent that we had assembled from 95-99! We can expect more people, or as Ed says "We are Tennessee!"
