    SEC refs

The average salary is $62K - obviously some make less and some make more. More than half make between $57K to $143K with the top salary over $300K. Maybe it's not most, but I would guess that the SEC is the highest paying conference as we generate the most money with every team on TV every...

    SEC refs

I guess I have a different definition of corrupt.

    SEC refs

Don't disagree that their are biases - but I don't believe the SEC officials are all corrupt and homers as the OP indicated.

    SEC refs

I never said it doesn't or hasn't happened, but the OP suggested that every SEC ref is corrupt and biased and simply isn't true.

    SEC refs

You should look through a few more articles instead of the very first thing that comes up in a google search. SEC officials that have any decent amount of experience make significantly more than that. I know someone who is a former SEC official and he did quite well officiating.

    SEC refs

You need to get real - so ridiculous. So you think because the league office is in Alabama therefore all refs are Bama homers? You do realize that the source of most refs played college football from all over the country - some of which played for UT. Terry Brown for example who played for UT...

    SEC refs

Probably never, but my point is I don't believe they are making bad calls because they are a homer. I think they are becoming too reliant on instant reply to bail them out. Then the replay isn't conclusive. I don't know what the problem is - but I'm confident it's not because they have an...

    SEC refs

For some yes, but do you realize how much money they make? Most experienced SEC refs make 6 figures. Also, it's a path to the NFL so they aren't going to risk their job. Would you?

    SEC refs

So let me get this straight, you think someone is going to risk their job because of an allegiance to Alabama and the fact that Kiffin once coached for Alabama and we beat him back in the 90's. Come on, give me a break. Utterly ridiculous. Is there a problem with officiating, of course, but it's...

    Anyone Still Simping for Lane

Actually, it was a fairly accurate throw consider the distance and throwing a golf ball accurately is not exactly easy!

Sounds like Darel Middleton wants to come back.

If you had seen and observed what I have you would have the same exact opinion.

Harrison Bailey, thy time is now….

I think you're making a big assumption on tempo - I think it's a much larger reason he's currently 3rd string and more likely due to running ability.

Harrison Bailey, thy time is now….

Exactly why do you think Bailey can't run the offense at the tempo required? If you want to say he's not a fit due to lack of running ability, fine, but to say he can't run the offense at an up-tempo is ridiculous. Also, the complete lack of situational awareness and lack of willingness to do...

Sounds like Darel Middleton wants to come back.

Don't confuse what you see on the field with what happens off the field. And pretty good is laughable. He has 38 tackles with 2 sacks in 20 games at UT. Serviceable but not pretty good. He's lazy, entitled and quits when things don't go his way and I have first hand knowledge of some players...

Sounds like Darel Middleton wants to come back.

Therein lies the problem. I've seen his piss poor attitude since high school. No thank you, we don't need the drama. He went to 3 different high schools and now will be on his third college. Sad part is he could have been dominant if he wasn't a head case but he can't get out of his own way.
