Next Season Schedule (SEC)

should be an exciting year. We are coming to the LSU game, Lord willing.
My wife is a Lousiana born girl. SC & GA raised past age 7. I'm thinking we need 4 tickets to that game. My fear is the first TD UT scores she will be hate talking her own team and want to leave. That's how she does the TV at home every week. lol. "They ain't worth a s**t." About 3 minutes into game. Then she goes to the bedroom and watches Hallmark Xmas.

you keep saying this like you're going to manifest it into existence. it ain't damn happening ever (until the playoffs are expanded to 16 teams).

people think that strength of schedule is God. it only matters if you win the damn games against the tough teams (example: beat Alabama on their field and then lose to Vanderbilt). we woild get more credit for that than doing what we did this year which is beat every bad team and lose to all the good ones.

SoS is a myth now. the only thing that matters is this:

1. create a really huge P4 conference of 18-20 teams
2. make sure only 2-3 teams are ever really any good
3. avoid playing those teams at all cost
4. walk into the playoff

what the SEC needs to do is go out and raid some bottom feeder ACC teams to pad our schedule like the B10 did with maryland and rutgers.

I don't want clemson or fsu in the SEC. give me boston college and wake forrest please. we are all full up of good teams.
Geez Louise, can you not read ?! His very first sentence said WHEN IT EXPANDS.

North Carolina and Georgia Tech would logically make sense. Wonder how good GT would be in the SEC.

In this league, we just can't start making home losses a regular thing. White/Heupel can't survive that. It's sure to lead to some 6-6 or worse, losing seasons. Fans wanted all these great match ups and an elimination of these easier games. Well, they get their wish next year. Let's see how much folks enjoy it. In this portal era, you can't build depth anymore and a meat grinder of a schedule will surely lead to more and more injuries. Then again, the kids today won't play with a boo boo so just being "hurt" or "banged up" will have our guys sitting on the sidelines.

At this point and not knowing what moves(if any) Heupel makes in the off season, I'm having a hard time seeing 6 wins on that schedule. Seriously.
I don't think our OOC is anything to worry about next year. KY is always there for us. Whatever voodoo Vandy has summoned will have worn off by next season.

We will go to a bowl. About all I expect next season. Breaking in a presumable freshmen or redshirt freshmen

After seeing the way some of the folks have reacted to losing to a decent Oklahoma team I'm not so sure they survive 2026 without a coronary lol..

If we don't fire all the coached and really hit the portal super hard we will more than likely loose them all.

I cannot overemphasize how much I need Tennessee to win that Texas game. I'll be there too, Texas friends in tow. I've had to endure the "real UT" and the "which shade of orange is right" chatter with my Texas football friends for twenty five years. They're coming to our house with their big money roster and their Manning and I cannot afford to lose that one out the gate. I'll never hear the end of it otherwise.
Easier to get new friends.

Well, not what we wanted vs. the Sooners (Who I can't find any reason to hate, good for them!). Likely NOT going to make the CFP, and I was looking for our schedule next season.

We get to host:
Bama
Auburn
Kentucky
LSU
Texas
We have to visit:
Arkansas
South Carolina
Texas A&M
Vanderbilt

I don't know... the road schedule is tough with Texas A&M and Arkansas. Other than that, we got this.
The craziest part about this schedule; it's highly likely that all but 2 of those teams will have new coaches and coaching staffs! (Bama, A&M)

Reading is fundamental and the SEC already knows who they will get when they expand to 20-24 teams

Maybe not silly but definitely incorrect. The kids arrogant but Vandy doesn’t have the last few seasons they’ve had without him. Kids a gamer. Takes leaders like that to make a bunch of 3 stars perform the way they have been.

Silly take. Like the kid or not he is a huge reason they are winning games.
Kid? Isn't he like 40? 🤣 You are correct on both counts! I cannot stand the arrogant turd but he is the reason they are winning, Vandy will not be very good next year, again🤫

It would help make my season if we have the pleasure of knocking them out of the playoffs!;)

That 40 year old is the same age as our QB…. They could definitely struggle at that position, but I like Lea. He has that group playing disciplined, inspired football. Quite the opposite of what we get. But I do hope your right, I hope they’re back to their normal selves.

If we can’t beat them at home this year we may have bigger problems than we thought.

I see 8 loseable games: 7 from conference play plus Ga Tech. I also see 12 winnable games (although I have a tough time envisioning a win at A&M). Neither 4-8 nor 12-0 is going to happen, though, so...

Bold prediction: we will be somewhere between 5-7 and 11-1.

We've been choosing an away game to go to every year (although missed this year) and trying to decide between A&M and USCjr. Will probably choose A&M but has anyone been to both and have an objective point of view?
