Completely different. Sunseri and Dooley were never promoted above positional coaches (if I recall correctly). Pruitt was automatically, without hesitation, without so much as interviewing another person promoted to DC.

He averaged 10 wins a year over his entire time between OSU and LSU. Heck, I think his last 3 years at LSU he averaged 9 wins.
What killed LSU was their QB play. The only other knock you can have on Miles was his inability to get a quality QB the last 5 years.
He was also 9-3 if I recall...
I will happily take Les Miles.........only reason why LSU fired him was because he couldn't beat Saban. Only two coaches that I can think of have been able to beat him more than once, Gus M. and Hugh Freeze.
Miles is a proven winner with Championships under his belt. I would take him in...
