I know I’ve been hyping him since well before we drafted him, but I think a lot of people already holding him on a savior’s pedestal are delusional. Cam seems to be heading in the right direction, but he’s still going to be a rookie…on a pretty bad team no less. He’s going to go 3 and out a lot...
Please. We took a team from Vancouver that barely existed and had never made the playoffs. Twenty years later, Memphis can lay some actual claim to that franchise.
Ive got nothing against OKC as a town, but the Sonics were a whole ass vibe with history and rings. We are not the same.
I’ve been all aboard the Cam train since damn near the day I learned we had the top pick, but I remember there being a lot of hype “in the building” about Levis too.
I think Ward is a notably better prospect and player than Levis was, but I always take these offseason rookie reports with a...
Yeah, that's the key.
I still feel it's unlikely we keep him through training camp, but I'm not as against the idea as I was previously. Ward honestly comes across pretty mature. I don't think Levis, being the meme clown he's ultimately become, could screw with the locker room pecking order...
I have no idea what we will ultimately do, but after stewing on it the last few days, I'm starting to come around to the idea of keeping Will Levis as the backup QB. He is still cheap, and although he sucks, he is still probably quite a bit better than Brandon Allen. He is also more similar to...
That’s been my question for months now, and a big reason I wanted us to get Ward while we had the chance to. Who are all these QBs coming out in next year’s supposedly “much better” QB class? Serious question.
Arch Manning hasn’t proven anything yet. And even if he turns out good, it seems...
I thought we could’ve gotten at least a 6th or 7th for him.
So we’re heading into minicamp with a QB room of Ward, Allen, Boyle, and Levis. I still think he gets moved before the season. Including 2025 he still has two years left on a cheap rookie deal.
My issue is his drop rate. At the risk of sounding like a total homer, I truly think Thornton was a much better option there for a similar skill set, although I wanted Jalen Royals over all the other available receivers.
