The Official Tennessee Titans thread IV

Guess we couldn't unload Levis.

I thought we could’ve gotten at least a 6th or 7th for him.

So we’re heading into minicamp with a QB room of Ward, Allen, Boyle, and Levis. I still think he gets moved before the season. Including 2025 he still has two years left on a cheap rookie deal.

My only complaint is we weren’t really swinging for the fences in the late rounds. Instead we were drafting guys to be a 4th team RB and special teams player.

Shoot for high upside. Give me Isaiah Bonds type guys
Idk, I think they got the right guys. Mullings has potential to be a good bruiser in a couple of years.

I was really hoping they’d double up on edge though. Ivey late would’ve been a huge steal, but maybe they can still get him as a UDFA.

To me it was a pretty ****** draft like the ones before it! Some really big overreaches and “projects” that this team can’t do. When you are as bad as this team is, get guys that can be plug and play and the Titans didn’t do that. Their best picks for me were Helm and Ayomanor. Ward might be ok, but not sure he’s a franchise QB and they were supposedly offered quite a bit to move off the 1st pick. The WR Dike wasn’t even the best WR on his own team that was Badger and he wasn’t all that good before he went to the Gators. 11 TD’s in 5 years, terrible pick! Oladejo is a project plain and simple, no reason to waste a 2nd on that when there were much better Edge guys there for value. Winston is an ok pick, but they needed a guard and WR more than a safety at that pick. Dalton played against crappy competition at an FCS school and we have t seen a ton of those guys even become anything. They need a guard to count on and they didn’t get it. Harris is a backup CB while there were some really good and valued CB at that pick. The Michigan RB in 6th is a wasted pick, there are still plenty of undrafted FA RB that will be just as good without spending a pick. Rebuilds are to fill holes with guys that can start and grow into the position, not guys that take 3-4 years and are going into their new contracts before becoming useful. This team has 3-4 more years at least of top picks they can blow because they are terrible at drafting. Guess it’s good they have lots of money

I’d take Martinez over him any day of the week.

Edit: RB Damien Martinez for clarification

You forgot to turn your caps lock on before posting

And to answer myself: this draft, apparently. Seth McLaughlin was a consensus AA, First-Team All-Big Ten, and Rimington Trophy winner and was an UDFA to the Bengals.
Wow, that’s crazy. I was really shocked to see McLaughlin drop to free agency, I really thought he’d go around 4-5. Wonder what caused him to drop so much?
