Not true. His sources were both on Gruden's side. I don't know if he came out and said this or not but one of the reasons Hargis was so sure of one of his sources was because Gruden called the guy when they were having lunch and the source showed him his phone and walked away.
I think the most important part of this article is that the source likely comes from Gruden's side. Which means he wants the job and is forcing Hart's hand to meet his demands and get it done. The Tennessee job will be long gone by the time any NFL jobs open so I don't buy that he is using...
I know basically all of them. They never have said anything to me negatively, but that doesn't mean anything. Still doesn't change the fact that they have a good track record producing sports writers that make it big.
The boosters may be willing to put up the money but Hart may still be trying to negotiate the best deal possible for the University because of the issue of low reserves. That's just speculation on my part though.
