Hart's going after another coach ( Fedora ) who's already said he wasn't interested.

This search has been chaos, can't even tell which way is up anymore. So lost. One thing I am POSITIVE about and has surely brought a smile to my face is the lady on the tractor. Kudos to whoever posted that. She is finer than a frogs hair split three ways.

Full artist permission for this image to go on the facebook of every non vols fan we all know. I plan on doing it within minutes of Gruden's announcement as our HC.

I don't see how that offends anyone. How can anyone truly believe we have a shot at Gruden now? Do you think we planned on Gundy, Strong, Mora, and Fedora saying no just to trick people?

What could we offer him now that we couldn't before except that it is clear no one wants to come here.

I'm almost positive what I heard was the same things the OG's were exclamation pointing at mid morning. I think I heard it about 45 mins after they did.

Again...it's so hard to come out and say things because of the volatile nature of a board like this...but man, today was very encouraging.

Yay4Bray is the only one brave enough to stick his neck out right now...it's admirable.

Hargis stated in his local Chattanooga radio interview he had personally seen proof Gruden had contacted a coach about being on staff...Hargis is very close to the local coaches around this area...I believe we just found one of his "sources"...Interesting timing for his resignation :yes:

Here is what I think FWIW. When all of this started Gruden had agreed to a deal in principle. All of the OG's got accurate inside info. Then it got tricky and Hargis was right... to a point. Gruden wanted more money or control or both than Hart and/or the boosters were willing to pony up. Now Hart has had to try to find a 'great' hire and found out the few 'great' hires weren't interested...had good jobs which explains the offers we have made (if we have). Now we are at a crossroads.
Solution: Give Gruden what he wants! After all when you factor in buyouts etc. it may not even be significantly more money. Or Gruden simply was using UT to continue to build up his ego and stock. If that was the case we are screwed!

Everybody should cool down... the deal has been made already...Hart said by mid=December he would announce..this is just the 5th....UT football is back.....
