Hart got burnt on allowing another year for Dooley with the assistant coaching changes versus termination. I don't believe he will make the same mistake twice. Problem is at this point the whole body of work is not complete but will be when we play our last game of the season.

Not giving him an extension and throwing him a $50k raise was the first notice sent to CCM.

Do you not think the Dooley situation is different? Dooley never beat a rival or ranked team. He never had a winning record. Martin, if he makes the tourney this year will have one year of way over achieving, and two years meeting expectations without key players. Dooley got worse each year. Martin's teams have gotten better. Martin has beaten each rival multiple times also ranked teams and defending NCs.

The if statement....if we beat Auburn should never have been a factor in this years attendance or NCAA.

At the first of this season you looked at this game as an absolute win or not go to the tournament then you knew something that many did not.

If this game affects attendance to the Mo game which I think it will if we lose to Auburn. This game with Auburn is a factor which should have never been.

Question to think about, does Hart consider (?) Martin backing into the tourney if we make as a success or hand of fate..SEC is pretty bad this year and on paper should have already had this decided about the tourney by winning the games we should have. Just a thought.

I think fans should always renew their ticket orders and think they will but will not attend.

I don't think at this time he should be coaching here next year and that is IMO nor do I think a tourney run should be a factor unless it is a Elite 8 based on how we got there.

The defense we witnessed yesterday was where I expected us to be at mid season not at the end of it. It's one game against a short handed team lets see what happens in our next two games.

Because I respect Don DeVoe's opinion more. He's got a little more experience. BTO, I've respected your opinion for a long time but I'll be honest your really starting to annoy me. I appreciate your opinion. Unfortunately sometimes the AD takes fans for granted and the only way to affect change is to make it a money decision. Sometimes I think as long as the money's rolling in the AD has no reason to make a change.

The situation at hand is people claiming don't show up to games and it'll show Hart what's up. I'm saying in order to do that, you're talking about 10-12k showing up, not 18k. 18k fans at a game against middle of the road SEC team is about what Pearls teams drew, it's not anything that's gonna make Dave Hart think "we gotta make a change".

None of my posts today are defending Cuonzo, you just don't like my opinion so that's your go to.

It seems as though for some reason you think by posting only what Don Devoe says that it'll make it less likely Tennessee gets in, that's simply not true, especially if you include other peoples opinions on that show.

That's like me simply posting...Bruce Pearl says we're in the tournament, the end. I post both sides of things, not just what agrees with my opinion.

I will be willing to bet he look at the dollars given to the AD for the CBJ hire was a loan and if he could have he would have put an annual % for repayment.

Also, I went back and looked at what Pancratz said. He said to get four teams in the teams would have to win out and advanced a couple of games in the tournament to improve their RPI. Far from a likely scenario.

IMO if I had to bet on 2 or 4 teams getting in from the SEC, I would say 4.

Imo, yes. Petitions won't influence Hart, but maybe the BOT. Some donors are holding tight on significant dollar giving until they are told something in a few weeks, or sooner.
Its also my understanding that the overall dept is miles ahead of were they were when Hamilton was letting things go, and boosters are pleased as far as that goes. Baseball and football have been cleaned up, especially.
