No I'm not sure where I saw it but they were saying if they won out they would be third in the conference and if they won a game or two in the tournament they deserved to get in.
Hart has recently sat down with several of the bigger boosters one on one. He is listening to what they have to say. Just gives little reciprocation regarding the situation. Tifwiw, the chances I was told were minimal at best. Its basically been some businessmen presenting their cases, Hart listening, then moving on.
At least he is talking, or at least listening.

A guess is never right until it becomes fact. The AD is going to make the fans show him they are serious by staying away in droves.
I personally find nothing more to my distaste than to have someone force me to do something that is reasonable.
Well ~18k there yesterday doesn't show Hart the fans are serious, and yesterday was their 2nd to last chance to make a statement.
If Tennessee beats auburn I'm guessing you'll have 18k+ again for the season finale. Not bad at all.
The crowd was there yesterday to honor a great vol, not some roadside wanabe coach.

What I heard is basically a mutual thing, he ain't happy, we ain't happy. He's been looking around since last spring. Felt disrespected because of no extension last year.
Where did his post say anything about this?
I don't disagree with this at all...could be more than 18k and should be....
Those that chose Not to support the team or coach at this point and time, is the last group of people you want in charge of change. This group would be only interested in their self gratification and not what is best for the players or university.
Boycotting the games and non support of the team is not the answer at this time because all it does is shows non support to the players.
People think the petition is not working well it is accomplishing what it was designed to do. Apply pressure, show disgruntlement, and raise awareness that the AD with Cheek need to address this.

Do you think a change would be made if the books balanced out satisfactorily but the team was consistently average?
Yes.....I think a change will be made.
Hart got burnt on allowing another year for Dooley with the assistant coaching changes versus termination. I don't believe he will make the same mistake twice. Problem is at this point the whole body of work is not complete but will be when we play our last game of the season.
What does that have to do with my post?
