Yes.....I think a change will be made.
Hart got burnt on allowing another year for Dooley with the assistant coaching changes versus termination. I don't believe he will make the same mistake twice. Problem is at this point the whole body of work is not complete but will be when we play our last game of the season.
Not giving him an extension and throwing him a $50k raise was the first notice sent to CCM.
The if statement....if we beat Auburn should never have been a factor in this years attendance or NCAA.
At the first of this season you looked at this game as an absolute win or not go to the tournament then you knew something that many did not.
If this game affects attendance to the Mo game which I think it will if we lose to Auburn. This game with Auburn is a factor which should have never been.
I share this opinion. Hypothetically, if he's retained, do you think fans should not renew season tix in order to affect change?
And Mark Pancratz said 4, why'd you omit that?
I think fans should always renew their ticket orders and think they will but will not attend.
I don't think at this time he should be coaching here next year and that is IMO nor do I think a tourney run should be a factor unless it is a Elite 8 based on how we got there.
The defense we witnessed yesterday was where I expected us to be at mid season not at the end of it. It's one game against a short handed team lets see what happens in our next two games.
Because I respect Don DeVoe's opinion more. He's got a little more experience. BTO, I've respected your opinion for a long time but I'll be honest your really starting to annoy me. I'm sure you couldn't care less but my respect for you as a poster has dwindled some of late. It appears you constantly go from poster to poster trying to argue and pick fights. JMO TIFWIW :hi:
Nobodies arguing that, but unless you got a DeLorean we can't go back in time, you gotta play with the hand your currently doubt.
I'm sorry, but it appears you have an agenda and when you post 1 thing that supports your agenda when another guy on the show your watching says something else and you purposely omit that, I have a problem with that and will call a person on it.
If you're gonna try to have a honest discussion, post what both guys said, not just 1.
No Crap Sherlock you are arguing with someone that agrees with you, but just added a statement that the Auburn game should have never been a factor to begin with. We have no room for slip up or errors.
My agenda is for Tennessee to be relevant in basketball. Your agenda is to protect and defend Cuonzo at all cost no matter what steaming pile of excrement that's put out there.
Again, that's why I said TIFWIW.
I appreciate your opinion. Unfortunately sometimes the AD takes fans for granted and the only way to affect change is to make it a money decision. Sometimes I think as long as the money's rolling in the AD has no reason to make a change.

Also, I went back and looked at what Pancratz said. He said to get four teams in the teams would have to win out and advanced a couple of games in the tournament to improve their RPI. Far from a likely scenario.
I am sure Hart is feeling the heat from Donors and unfortunately Cheek who looks at College Athletes as a necessary evil to the budget but will not support it.
I will be willing to bet he look at the dollars given to the AD for the CBJ hire was a loan and if he could have he would have put an annual % for repayment.
You were saying it shouldn't even be a discussion, we should be better.
I'm not disagreeing with that at all, that drum has just been beaten and I'm really not looking to partake in that topic again lol.
The situation at hand is people claiming don't show up to games and it'll show Hart what's up. I'm saying in order to do that, you're talking about 10-12k showing up, not 18k. 18k fans at a game against middle of the road SEC team is about what Pearls teams drew, it's not anything that's gonna make Dave Hart think "we gotta make a change".
Do you think he gives much weight to the regular fan or makes his decisions primarily based on big donors?
Maybe that's why donations are down. Lol.I think Hart weighs it all and does it well. I think Cheek in the one in over his head and is the kink.
Cheek does not know what's best, but thinks he does and wants to be proven wrong.
I will bet he is glad that Fulmer Hamilton and Summit are gone because they had more influence on Donations than he did.
So LWS was right in that chances are ~5%
By addressing it you are partaking in it which you don't want to do.
MO game could be the last game for Stokes, McRae, Maymon, and Martin plus staff.
That's good enough reason to attend.
Hart is already in a pickle Between fans, Cheek and Donors.
