Guess again. I support the team. If you don't like the majority then leave our thread. I support MY University and Bruce made it better in bball. Who else has in your life time?

I'll give you howland. We could get him. Shaka Smart, get out of here. Marshall, not now, maybe a couple of years ago. Buzz Williams makes around 3 mil at Marquette. Jamie Dixon, no chance.

Don't get me wrong, another coach could come in and be successful but it won't be any of those guys. I just think Bruce would be a sure thing.

Also I do apologize for not stating my reasoning. When I asked for records I meant to post accomplishments and not just win loss records.

Lol if you think the fan base doesn't run the show. If Martin is retained they'll have to reinstall the black curtains. Order more for parts of the lower deck. Fans pay all of the salaries of the AD staff from Hart down to the floor sweepers. Fans have all the say.

Aka, bargain shopping again. All the guys listed in the prior pages that have a job make more than that. I think Marshall is making around 2 million.

We get what we pay for, and we pay for NIT results.

NIT results? Not so much, maybe NIT invitations. Our best NIT results were 2nd round.

They weren't exactly saints back in Mears days either.

I won't disparage either Pearl or Mears, both were excellent coaches. Pearl had more NCAA success and Mears more regular season success while at UT. Both didn't coach here nearly long enough unfortunately.

He said in 2012 that Dooley wouldn't be fired because they couldn't fund the buyout. It's not like he hasn't been wrong before.

It's nearly impossible to even compare NCAA resumes since the field size and rules for getting in we're so different back in the 70's.

U cant compare coaches 30 yrs apart anyways bc the game changes so much. Both coaches were great and it can be argued borh ways which coach was best.
