Bruce Pearl , after Jimmy Cheek is fired. As long as Cheek is here, Pearl won't be so hopefully someone on the Hill steps up and does the dirty work. Get rid of the " booger" man.

Wojo and Antigua have been mentioned. I would have no interest in anyone linked to Cal since his UK tenure or latter Memphis tenure. I just feel like none of them are on the up and up, and fair or not, they are likely guilty by association in my eyes.

Wojo has it made at Duke, but I'd think he wants to branch out on his own soon. He'll have his choice of jobs soon I'd imagine.

The guy at #1 has a name that scares me

I wouldn't mind Bruce Pearl coming back. He could be rehired if the AD wanted to rehire Him.

If Louisville can rehire Bobby Petrino as football coach then we can surely rehire Pearl as basketball coach if he would want the job.

Amen. The booger eater needs to go no matter what, irregardless of whether or not not we rehire Pearl.

Review the previous 8 pages. Petrino to Louisville and Pearl to Tennessee have almost nothing in common. Petrino left Louisville on his own in good standing (except maybe some hurt feelings from the UL side). Pearl was fired from Tennessee. Each coach's prodigal return would come under vastly different circumstances.

I would think the hurt feelings from Louisville after Petrino left were probably stronger than ours after Pearl got fired. A lot of UT fans blamed the NCAA for what was perceived by some as a minor infraction. If Louisville could set aside their hurt feelings and make what they perceive as the best hire for their program, then why can't UT do the same (once show cause ends obviously)?
